Holiday Shopping

Holiday Shopping

Guest post by Jewel Cole

The holidays are almost here and I have not started my Christmas shopping. Yikes! Time has run out for me to purchase items online and have them get here in time (unless I want to pay and arm and a leg for shipping) so I have got to get in gear and go shopping. It’s hard to believe how quickly the past two weeks have flown by but with holiday parties, school programs and church we are constantly on the go! Continue reading

I know that he will show signs of aging at some point, and sometimes he does forget things, but I am just in awe of how well he has aged over the years. He says that it’s all about keeping your mind and body moving and working. He is the walking billboard for health, so I absolutely believe him. Continue reading

National Landmark – Lamp – Fish Bridge

The Lamp – Fish Bridge has an existence all its own, as a National Landmark that holds memories for thousands of Southerns it will always bring a smile to my face with flashbacks of my childhood with my father.  I had taken an image of the bridge one mid-afternoon while fishing, I had almost forgot it was in my album until I started looking for images in my fishing gear box that I often leave to keep them dry. Bobby’s World

Bobby’s World

Bobby’s World is just one of those classic cartoons that can not be avoided. It is insanely cute and completely addictive once a person sees an episode of this show for the first time. The main character is a small boy named Bobby, who is drawn in just such an adorable way. He has huge feet and the cutest clothes. He also has some of the greatest parents and relatives in the world on this show. His uncle in particular is truly crazy and one of the most flamboyant characters I have ever seen on television.
